Life interrupted. We are all on the road of life experiencing twists & turns in our day. But what happens when you hit a road block? What happens when your daily drive is interrupted in an abrupt way? That happened for me. My husband and I are avid RV’ers. We have travelled extensively for many, many years. One year we were on our way home to Canada after a fabulous holiday in Palm Springs. We were having a beautiful drive. The conditions were ideal. Beautiful weather, dry roads, light traffic and we were in a wonderful space and enjoying our drive. Suddenly, the unexpected happened. |

Out of nowhere a vehicle was spinning out of control in front of us.
We tried to miss him but weren’t able to. What resulted was our truck and fifth wheel rolled and were totalled. We were left hanging upside down in our truck, hanging from our seat belts. When we came to a stop, the wheels were still spinning and the motor was still running.
To our amazement, we were able to walk away from the accident without a scratch.
In the days that followed, we were featured in the media because the accident became a hit and run. They were trying to flush out the driver of the car that caused the accident. To carry on our trip home, we had to sort through our belongings and take home what we could save.
In our dealings with the businesses, there was one office that made a difference in my life. When they realized who we were, they were awestruck. They visible shivered. They said ‘We want to come with you. You were saved for a reason and we want to know what it is’.
This statement weighed heavily on my shoulders. Why had we been saved?
I started on a soul reflecting search. I came to realize that making a difference had been a consistent thread in my life since a young person. I had never consciously realized it but had actively been involved in fundraising for many years for many huge organizations. At a young age I realized that I could make more of an impact by fundraising instead of handing over a couple of dollars.
I have been with an amazing company for six years called Send Out Cards (www.sendoutcards.com/gailscards) . This company so resonated with me and what my mission in life was. Who knew that by simply having fun, creating amazing cards, I would make a difference in peoples lives and get paid for it to boot!
Even though I was making a difference sending an unexpected card a day, my life felt empty. I felt there was something more that I wanted to do.
Have you ever heard the saying ‘When the student is ready, the teacher appears’? Through my path of self discovery, I came to realize that I have always been intuitive and I have been an amazing manifestor. It was happening for me on auto pilot.
As I started to focus on using intuition to build my SendOutCards business, I became more and more in tune with the possibilities of living life by design.
I was then presented to an amazing coaching program and the opportunity to train to be a coach for that program. It was like a glove that was a perfect fit.
I find it so amazing that I am able to make a difference on a global scale and am so grateful for the path that has lead me here.
